Sometimes it is so sad to be right and I would rather be wrong. Tonight Bill Moyer's finally came out with a strong assertion that indeed Iraq Was All About Oil - and the Cheney-led secret conference of oil executives (6 MONTHS BEFORE 9/11) set the stage for invasion of the oil lands in the hope of grabbing quick control. I am sad to be right because 4100 fine US soldiers are now dead plus uncountable numbers of innocent people who just happen to be living there. I WAS wrong with a follow-up article "it's not about oil anymore". Moyers followed with the fact that the big oil companies are now "moving in" and will indeed soon be getting oil from Iraq - sure glad I don't still work for one of them - that looks dangerous. What a country! Well I am, with audacity, still hoping for better things.
