Scott McClelland’s reportedly accurate, certainly courageous, and unfortunately late book makes clear that the reason for the Iraq (so called) War was not WMD (surprise!) but because Bush wanted to follow a policy of “coercive Democracy” – he wanted to bring democracy to all the Middle East. While most of us suspect that WMD was a red herring, Middle East Democracy also is a phony as Scotts neat toupee. Unless it is just code for the idea that if they had Democracy, they would not hate us and then we would be in better position to at least make favorable deals for the contents of their huge oil reserves. As we now see the looming shortage of oil is beginning to make itself evident in ways that affect our everyday lives. Much more ominous than higher gas prices, from the standpoint of the Defense Department, is the fact that our armed forces would be severely handicapped if the plentiful fuel on which it depends were to disappear. The fact that this impending catastrophe is already looming in the Defense budgets is shown by the recent call by the Air Force for future use of coal (which is plentiful in the US) to make jet fuel (Hitler used coal for fuel in WWII). I am not saying that Bush understood the real reason himself at the time McClelland refers to (probably not). But others in the Bush cabal arm of the MIC (military industrial complex) certainly must have. OK if you do not like the liberal term “Blood for Oil" you can call it “Coercive Democracy for Defense”, but lets take the bull s-t by the horns, and stop beating around the Bush.

IDK what happening..
Thanks for your comment. But I am not familiar with the meaning of IDK. Is it because I do not text?
OK. Now I Googled it (bless them). And find "IDK" means "I don't know". Sir, you definitely are in good company. I have always thought it applies also to many others in the Bush Administration. (not that I am a Seer, but I just say what I see)
Yes, sir.. sometimes you're good and funny
I also new in this word. We know what meaning of BTW, FYI, OMG etc but IDK is a new one. And also I found this, I FLY (I Fxxking Love You)
Too passionate for my age I am afraid - and may not go well with the girls either
WOW! (no acronmym ... it's an interjection)
McClellan's book hasn't reached our local Stores yet. Hence, in the absence of being able to read the book, what you mentioned does cast some doubt whether the author was really shooting from his hips and shooting on target.
Your pun is exquisite - "lets take the bull s-t by the horns, and stop beating around the Bush"

Hi Hans! Good to hear from you. I got McClellan's book from Amazon and I think you are right: shooting from his rather ample hips (I should talk). The book is interesting in places and boring in others (in fact I have put it aside in favor of Martin Cruz Smith). I get the impression it was heavily edited for better sale (and should have been moreso). Anyway, we see the real picture imerging now as the US continues it's original plan to get a permanent base and therefore another good reliable souce of energy in the Muddle East. Cheers!
PS looks like I meant, "see above" - I will never figure out this new Bugster.
